Christian Haller

Christian Haller ( born October 28, 1989 in Davos ) is a Swiss professional snowboarder. His nickname in the scene is Hitsch.

Career

The launching in the halfpipe and big air Haller has already won at age 14 in 2003 his first FIS races in his native Davos. On 30 January 2004 he started for the first time in the Snowboard European Cup and has already won the first race in Berchtesgaden. On 29 October 2004 he started for the first time in the Snowboard World Cup. At the Junior World Championships in Zermatt in 2005, he was seventh in the halfpipe. A year later he was at the Junior World Championships in Vivaldi Park on the half-pipe 24 and launched for the first time in Big Air, where he finished fourth at the end and only just missed out on a medal. In the Swiss Championships 2006 in Zermatt, he won the bronze medal in the Big Air discipline and was fifth in the halfpipe. On November 2, 2007, he stood in Saas -Fee with the 3rd place on the podium for the first time in the FIS World Cup. In the Snowboard World Championships 2009 in Gangwon -do, he reached 7th place in the halfpipe and was in the Big Air discipline at the end of 33

He drives both in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour and in the FIS Tour and has already had a great success in both leagues.

Christian Haller visited the high Alpine Institute Ftan, which is a Swiss Olympic Sports School.
