Christiane Fürst

Christiane Fürst ( born March 29, 1985 in Dresden ) is a German volleyball national team.

Career

Christiane Fürst played since 1995 when Dresdner SC, first in the youth, from the fall of 2002 with 17 years in the first team. In 2007, she won the German championship with the club and then left this in the direction of Italy. At the international level, it was initially successful with the youth national team and won the 2001 Youth Olympic tournament. In 2003 she was nominated without National team experience for the European Championships in Turkey and took third place. With their performances, she established herself in the senior team. A year later she took part in the Olympic Games in Athens to the "Miracle of Baku ". In the 2006 World Cup in Japan, the middle blocker was the best player of the tournament on their position. However, the team finished only eleventh. In summer 2007, she won with the team the European Grand Prix qualifying and finished at the European Championship in Belgium and Luxembourg sixth place. At the European Championships in Poland in 2009 she reached the fourth place with the national team and has been named best player of the tournament block. In the 2010 World Cup they reached number seven and was again best block player of the tournament.

Since October 2007, Prince played at the top Italian club Scavolini Pesaro. In her first year in Italy she reached with her new team, the Italian Cup final, where she was awarded as the best player of the Cup finals. In addition, the Club the CEV European Cup and the Italian Cup against Perugia with the German striker Hanka Pachale won. Prince was also awarded the CEV - finals as the best striker. The following year the club repeated the championship triumph.

In 2009, fans voted for Christiane Fürst volleyball player of the year.

In the 2009/10 season Christiane Fürst played at Foppapedretti Bergamo, where it was Champions League winner. She then moved to Turkey for Fenerbahce Acibadem Istanbul, where she was in 2011 the Turkish champions. She then moved to local rivals Güneş Sigorta Vakıfbank İstanbul. With the national team it was 2011 Vice European Champion in October. In the 2012/13 season Prince won with Istanbul to 47 wins in a row unbeaten the Turkish Cup, the Champions League and the Turkish Cup. With the national team in 2013, she took first place in the Europa League and was again Vice European Champion.
