Christine Egerszegi

Egerszegi -Obrist (* May 29, 1948 in Baden, hometown entitled in Baden, Mellingen and Riniken ) is a Swiss politician (FDP).

Life

Egerszegi belonged from 1989 to 1995 the Grand Council of the Canton Aargau to. From the elections of 1995 to 2007 she was on the National Council, which she chaired in 2006/2007. From 2003 to 2005 she was Vice -President of the Commission on Social Security and health. Since 2007 she has been a member of the same Council of States and since 2009 Vice-President again. This after they had been elected in the elections of 21 October 2007 on the first Councillor of the Canton of Aargau. Egerszegi was president of the Initiative Committee for the Swiss popular initiative " youth music ". The initiative committee with President Egerszegi was honored with the Joan Dürmüller -Bol Young Classics Award 2012.

Egerszegi is widowed, has two children and five grandchildren.
