Christine Laszar

Christine Laszar, born Laszarus, ( born December 19, 1931 in Ortelsburg ) is a German actress.

Life

Laszar graduated from West Berlin Max -Reinhardt - school for acting and began her theatrical career at the Renaissance Theatre. She entered the cabaret on The porcupines and at the Munich show booth. In the GDR, she performed at the Volksbühne Berlin.

At the " Theater der Zeit " in Munich Goethesaal Laszar played in Rolf Honolds against the Indochina war drama directed squadron bat the General sweetheart Fressy. Director Erich Engel gave her the same role at the same time as the female lead in his eponymous DEFA film.

Then she got a permanent position at the DEFA, settled in 1958 in the GDR and married Karl- Eduard von Schnitzler ( the marriage ended in divorce after a short time ). In crime films and thrillers Political she embodied cool, smart women. Initially seen in sympathetic roles, she was regularly cast as dangerous criminals since 1963.

She was married in first marriage to actor and director Rudolf Schündler. Their daughter Katrin was an editor and presenter at the DFF.
