Christopher Moore (author)

Christopher Moore ( born 1957 in Toledo, Ohio) is an American writer.

Life

Christopher Moore grew up in Mansfield, Ohio. His father was a patrolman and his mother worked in a department store. He earned the money for his driver's license with numerous jobs: Roofing, night watchman, disc jockey, photographer, insurance representatives, Hotelrezeptionist and waiters.

He studied at Ohio State University for a while anthropology, he moved to California and studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara Photography, where he also took some writers courses.

According to information from Christopher Moore began to write about twelve years, but only about 30 years he managed with the book " The little demons advisor " ( in the original "Practical Demonkeeping "), enabled. A year after the publication of The Walt Disney Company bought the film rights to the book.

Moore lives in Kauai, Hawaii and San Francisco, California. Before he became a writer, he worked as a journalist. Today, he writes novels that are internationally successful.
