Christy Carlson Romano

Christy Carlson Romano ( born March 20, 1984 in Milford, Connecticut ) is an American actress and singer.

Life and achievements

Romano was a cheerleader and was honored by the magazine American Cheerleader Junior with the title of honorary cheerleader. She studied at Columbia University. As an actress she made her debut in 1996 in the TV drama The Many Trials of Tammy B.

In the years 1999 to 2003, Romano starred opposite Shia LaBeouf in the television series Even Stevens, winning it in 2001 and in 2002 a Young Artist Award. Another nomination for this award she received in 2004 for her role in the television series based on the comedy The Even Stevens Movie ( 2003). In the comedy Cadet Kelly (2002) Romano played alongside Hilary Duff one of the major roles. From 2002 to 2007 she sang the title role in the television series Kim Possible, for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2005.
