Tea Tree Gully is located in the north of Adelaide, about 15 km northeast of the city center. The area includes 28 districts: Banksia Park, Dernancourt, Fairview Park, Gilles Plains, Golden Grove, Gould Creek, Green With, Gulfview Heights, Highbury, Holden Hill, Hope Valley, Houghton, Modbury, Modbury Heights, Modbury North, One Tree Hill, Para Hills, Redwood Park, Ridgehaven, St Agnes, Salisbury Heights, Surrey Downs, Tea Tree Gully, Upper Hermitage, Valley View, Vista, Wynn Vale Yatala Vale and. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the district of Modbury in the South LGA.

Management

The Tea Tree Gully City Council has 13 members, twelve Councillor elected by the residents of the six wards ( two each from Balmoral, Drum Minor, Hillcott, Pedare, Steventon and Water Gully Ward). These six districts are set independently of the districts. The Council President and Mayor ( Mayor ) is also elected by all residents of the City.
