City of Unley

- 34.95138.6Koordinaten: 34 ° 57 ' S, 138 ° 36' O The City of Unley is a Local Government Area ( LGA) in the Australian state of South Australia. Unley is part of the metropolis of Adelaide, capital of South Australia. The area is 14 km ² in size and has about 38,000 inhabitants.

Unley is located in central Adelaide and is bordered to the north by the city center. The area includes 16 districts of Black Forest, Clarence Park, Everard Park, Forestville, Fullarton, Goodwood, Highgate, Hyde Park, Kings Park, Malvern, Mills Wood, Myrtle Bank, Parkside, Unley, Unley Park, Wayville. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the Unley district.

Management

The Unley City Council has 13 members, twelve Councillor elected by the residents of the six wards ( two each from Fullarton, Goodwood, Goodwood South, Parkside, Unley Unley Park and Ward). These six districts are set independently of the districts. The Council President and Mayor ( Mayor ) is also elected by all residents of the City.
