Clare Teal

Clare Teal ( * May 14, 1973 near Skipton in Yorkshire ) is a British jazz singer who was known for her voice not only, but also for having the highest paid recording contract for a British jazz singer signed to Sony Jazz at all.

Life

Clare Teal was born in 1973 and grew up in North Yorkshire. Inspired by the record collection of her father, she began to take an interest at a young age for jazz and especially the big band singers like Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Loss. She took music lessons and learned to play the piano, electronic organ and clarinet, before she began her music studies at the University of Wolverhampton. During her studies, she should be tested one day unexpectedly, but her clarinet was not with him. She decided instead to sing and she received a very good rating.
