Clark L. Hull

Clark Leonard Hull ( born May 24, 1884 in Akron, New York, † May 10, 1952 in New Haven, Connecticut ) was an American psychologist.

He contributed substantial contributions to the behaviorist learning theory and is therefore assigned to the so-called Neobehaviorismus today. His concept of a single drive which energize all human actions, exerted a strong influence on the psychological research on motivation. In addition, Hull founded the experimental hypnosis research.
