Clark Township is one of 13 townships of Clinton County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 1861 inhabitants were registered here.

Geography

Clark Township is located south of Clinton County in the mid- southwestern Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Washington Township, Green Township, Union Township, Highland County, Dodson Township ( Highland County) and Jefferson Township.

Management

The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk ( responsible for finance and budget), which is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
