Cleavant Derricks (Songwriter)

Reverend Cleavant Derricks ( born May 13, 1910 in Chattanooga, † 1977) was a pastor and choir director of several parishes of African-American Baptists in the United States. He also wrote over 300 gospel songs. He had two sons, the twins Cleavant Derricks, jun. and Clinton Derricks - Carroll.
