Cliff Barrows

Cliff " Burton " Barrows ( born April 6, 1923 in Ceres ( California)) is an American musician and evangelical minister.

Life

Barrows grew up in California. He graduated from Bob Jones University. His main subjects belonged next to church music and the drama of William Shakespeare. After graduating in 1944 he was ordained as a pastor of a Baptist church and worked for three years for the evangelical organization Youth for Christ. After that, he worked in various positions and functions for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, among others, as a choral conductor and musical director. Barrows was next to Billy Graham, George Beverly Shea, and Grady Wilson one of the persons who undertook a voluntary code of conduct, called the Modesto Manifesto, as a principle of their activity. 1988 Barrows was inducted into the Gospel Music Hall of Fame.
