Cobar Shire

Cobar is located in the center of the state in the North - Western region and is about 700 km west of the city of Sydney. The area includes 40 districts and towns, including Cobar, Eubalong West, Nymagee, Mount Hope and a part of Eubalong. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the town of Cobar in the northeast of the LGA in which nearly 4,100 inhabitants.

Management

The Cobar Shire Council has twelve members who are elected by the residents of the LGA. Cobar is not divided into districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
