Cocurès

Cocurès is a commune in the Lozère department in the Languedoc- Roussillon region. The mountain village is located at about 600 meters above sea level and has 200 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011). It is located in the southern Massif Central in the Cevennes region, the highest mountain of the Cevennes, Mont Lozère is located about 15 km northeast of the community. The village is situated high above the headwaters of the river Tarn.
