The Cole Price (English: Cole Prize or completely Frank Nelson Cole Prize ) is a pair of awards for outstanding mathematical achievements that are awarded currently every three years by the American Mathematical Society. One prize is for work in the field of algebra, the other for number theory. Only members of the AMS or individuals whose contributions have been published in renowned U.S. journals can receive the prize, which is currently (as of 2007 ) with U.S. $ 5,000 is doped.
