Colin St. John Wilson

Sir Colin Alexander St John "Sandy" Wilson, FRIBA, RA ( born March 14, 1922 in Cheltenham, † 14 May 2007) was a British architect, lecturer and author. As his most famous building, considered the British Library, for which he was planning for 30 years.

He married twice. First, Muriel Lavender in 1955, but a year after the divorce in 1971 he married in 1972, the architect Mary Jane Long. With long he has a son and a daughter.
