Collins John

Collins John (born 17 October 1985 in Zwedru, Liberia) is a Dutch football player.

Club career

John Collins was born in the Liberian Zwandru and came because of the civil war in Liberia in the Netherlands. He began his career in the team of DES Nijverdal. 2002 John was brought as a 17- year-old in the first team of FC Twente. There, he scored 11 goals.

In January 2004, John left his native Netherlands to England for Fulham FC for £ 600,000 transfer fee. There he played his debut on 20 March 2004 against Chelsea. In the season 2005/2006 he was among the top scorers of the team. In the following season he lost his place and only stood as a substitute on the court. In September 2007, he was loaned for three months at Leicester City. He was then loaned out to Watford. At Leicester he had held a regular place at Watford but John was not so fit and came only five more games to use.

After Watford did not want to tie up long-term, John was loaned to NEC Nijmegen. Again, he had to contend with conditional problems.

For the 2009/10 season he signed a two -year contract with Belgian first division side KSV Roeselare, which was dissolved on 14 December 2009 " for family reasons ". Previously, Collins was transferred for disciplinary reasons in the reserve of the association.

On 29 January 2010 John played for the North American MLS franchise Chicago Fire SC. On March 11, he signed a contract.

2011 Collins plays for FK Qəbələ in the Premyer Liqasi in Azerbaijan. In January 2012, he joined the Iranian club Mes Sarcheshmeh.

National

John has played twice in the Dutch national football team.

Private

His two brothers, John and Paddy Ola John is also a professional footballer. Paddy John plays since 2011 at VfL Osnabrueck and Ola John currently plays for Benfica.
