Action

Lola and Doc Delaney Delaney are a seemingly happily married couple. Lola wants to rent a room in her house. Your husband Doc does not know. The young student Marie accepts the offer gladly. Even the husband is finally ready to establish the girl with him. Marie is used to substitute the daughter Delaney, for the couple's life is affected by the early death of her daughter. Doc Delaney was the mourning of the daughter of an alcoholic and this problem has survived only recently. First, the little dog Sheba should replace the loss of the daughter. Shirley Booth was since the 1930s, a successful stage actress on Broadway. Sweeping back, little Sheba was her first film role. She was at the time of the shooting about 50 years old.
