The International Catholic journal Communio ( ikaz ) is a journal of Catholic theology, which was founded in 1972 by Hans Urs von Balthasar, Joseph Ratzinger, Karl Lehmann and Franz Greiner, Otto B. Roegele, Albert Gorres and John Doe.

The magazine, which is now published in seventeen languages ​​( German, English, Spanish and many others), is considered one of the most important Catholic theological journals.
