Conde (Bahia)

Conde is a Brazilian municipality in the state of Bahia. On 1 April 2007 Conde had a population of 22 034 inhabitants in a total area of 951 km ². In addition to the main town of Conde there is also the 6 km distance fishing Sitio do Conde, who belongs to the same district.

The Auto Road Linha Verde Conde and Sitio do Conde Bahia was connected to the 162 km distant Salvador and has since developed into a tourist center of the region. It is next to the beautiful sandy beaches, a developed tourist infrastructure with guesthouses and restaurants. A local attraction is the 30 -meter high dune of Cavalo Russo dar. Also located in about 12 km distance of the small seaside resort Itariri, which is located on an estuary of the eponymous river Itariri. The place is also called Barra do Itariri.
