Conquering Lion
Conquering Lion is a pseudonym of a British singer, rapper and producer Michael West ( born August 27, 1965 in Tottenham, London), as the Rebel MC already had some hits. He is considered one of the pioneers of the Jungle and drum and bass.
Career
After his successful time as Rebel MC, Michael West concentrated in the years 1993 to 1995 to his work as ' Conquering Lion '. During this time he published several singles, one of which Code Red was able to place in October 1994 in the UK charts. The title became a huge club hit and made the Jungle style very popular in the United Kingdom.
With Banana Boat Man / Black Code and Code Red appeared in the years 2003 and 2009 remixes of old Conquering Lion tracks.
