Controlinveste is a Portuguese holding company in the media. The company's headquarters is located on Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon, Praça Marquês de Pombal.

Enterprise development

Controlinveste has emerged from the company Olivedesportos out in 1984, founded in 2005 by media mogul Joaquim Oliveira. It is now one of the largest media groups in Portugal, with a presence in the fields of press, radio, television and the Internet. The group also manages a diverse set of interests in companies in the advertising, media communication, content production and design, as well as telecommunications and sports.

Controlinveste holds important active investments in the field of television broadcasting rights for competitions in professional football in Portugal and abroad (such as the National team, Primeira Liga, Taça de Portugal, League Cup, Champions League and UEFA Cup) as well as sponsorship and advertising rights in sport.
