Copenhagen Jazz Festival

The Copenhagen Jazz Festival ( CJF ) has been organized since 1979 annually for ten days in July in Copenhagen and is one of Europe's largest Jazz festivals. Venues include the " Copenhagen Jazz House " or the Glass Palace in Tivoli, but also in many cafes, hotels, museums, cultural places of the city, the Opera, record stores, parks and even in pharmacies and bookshops. In addition to international stardom plays a number of musicians in the local jazz scene. Some concerts are free ( or at open air concerts at the Tivoli in the normal admission price ).
