Corani Lake

The Corani Lake ( bolivian: Laguna Corani ) is a 18 km ² large dam in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location

The Corani Lake is located in one of the high valleys of the Bolivian Cordillera Oriental halfway between Altiplano and Chapare lowlands. It has a size of about 18 square kilometers and extends over a length of 9,500 m and a maximum width of 2,200 m. The lake belongs to the district ( bolivian: Municipio) Colomi and is located in the province of Chapare in Cochabamba Department.
