Corbera d'Ebre

Corbera d' Ebre is a Catalan municipality in the province of Tarragona, in northeastern Spain. It is located in the comarca of Terra Alta.

Corbera d' Ebre was from July to November 1938 scene of the bloody Battle of the Ebro during the Spanish Civil War. During this battle, the whole place was destroyed at that time on the hill and the residents had subsequently below, resettle along the road.

The destroyed and uninhabitable Poble Vell (, Old Village ') on the hill since July 20, 1992, a cultural monument and a memorial against war.
