Cornelis Kick

Cornelis Kick (* around 1631 probably in Amsterdam, † March 3, 1681 in Amsterdam) was a Dutch still life painter.

Kick is the son of the genre painter Simon Kick. According to Houbraken he was trained by his father, although this was not a still life painter. It is therefore to assume that he took for Still life lessons even with specialists. While his fruit images are close to the work by Jan van de Velde Jamsz to show his flower pieces the influence of Willem van Aelst and Jan Davidsz. de Heem.
