Cornelis van Geelkerken

Cornelis van Geelkerken ( born March 19, 1901 in Sint -Jans -Molenbeek, Belgium, † March 29, 1979 in Ede ) was co-founder of the Dutch Nationaal - Socialistische Beweging ( NSB).

In the 1920s, he drifted into a right-wing nationalism. He beat Anton Adriaan Mussert before an authoritarian, anti-democratic movement that led to the founding of the Nationaal - Socialistische Beweging. Van Geelkerken became leader of the Youth Corps, the Jeugdstorm. During the German occupation of the Netherlands Geelkerken was appointed Inspector General of the Nederlandsche Landwacht, a homeland security force to fight against the Dutch resistance.

After the Second World War, he was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1959 but released.
