Cornhill (Aberdeenshire)

Cornhill is a village in the Scottish unitary authority Aberdeenshire. It is situated about twelve kilometers south-west of Banff and 18 km south-east of Buckie in traditional Scottish county of Banffshire. The nearest town is the Gordon Town is 2.5 km away. Cornhill is connected by the A95 to the motorway network. In the past, a railroad passed the town in the north, but was dismantled in the meantime. The train station of Cornhill was opened in 1859. He was last served by trains on the Moray Coastal Line and closed in 1968. Every year, held on the first Saturday in June in Cornhill Highland Games.
