Corrado Benedetti

Corrado Benedetti ( born January 20, 1957 in Cesena, † February 15, 2014 ) was an Italian football player and coach.

Career

Benedetti debuted in early 1977 for the AC Cesena in Serie A. With the club he dismounted at the end of the season, to 1980, he ran for the club to Serie B in the second-rate. Then he returned to the first division when he joined the FC Bologna. As this in turn in 1982 descended to the second division, he returned to the now back in Serie A AC Cesena antretenden. Here he dismounted again and moved to just one season to the second division rivals AC Perugia Calcio on. He remained there until 1986, before the club had relegated after involvement in a betting scandal. With Catania Calcio Benedetti dismounted from the second division, so he remained there only one season. However, he moved to the third division Trento Calcio 1921 in the Serie C1, and from there he moved on after one season for AS Livorno. As of 1989, he left his career at amateur club FC Forlì finish.

From 1993, Benedetti worked as a youth coach at his hometown club AC Cesena, three years later he moved on to head coach. Under his management the team rose to 1998 in the B series. After his resignation after the season, as Alberto Cavasin replaced him, he took over in 1999 the fortunes of the second division Absteigers ASD Castel di Sangro. This was followed by engagements with the third division club AC Pisa, Benevento Calcio U.S. Grosseto, before he returned in 2006 to AC Perugia Calcio. In 2007 he took over as coach in U.S. Pistoiese, with whom he only in the relegation matches against AC Sangiovannese 1927 the league managed and was subsequently replaced by Roberto Miggiano.

As of 2011, Benedetti worked as technical director at Torre Savio Cesena.
