Costa Rica women's national volleyball team

The Costa Rican national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Costa Rican players, the Federación de costaricense Voleibol represented in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

In the Volleyball World Cup 2006 Costa Rica was the first time there and finished in 17th place.

Olympic games

Costa Rica has never qualified for the Olympics.

NORCECA Championship

In the NORCECA Championship in 1987 Costa Rica came in seventh. The same result, there were 1995 and 1997. At the tournament in 1999, the Costa Rican women achieved her best result in fifth. Two years later they were sixth. In 2005, she again occupied the seventh place.

World Cup

At the World Cup, Costa Rica has not been played.

World Grand Prix

The World Grand Prix was previously held without Costa Rican participation.
