Cremona–Fidenza railway

The railway line Cremona Fidenza is a operated by the Italian railway company Rete Ferroviaria Italiana railway line.

It was opened on September 12, 1906 and operated by the Società Italiana Ferrovie e Tramvie ( SIFT ). Later, the distance of the state railway company Ferrovie dello Stato (FS ) was taken.

End of the 70s the line was electrified with 3 kV DC. The electric railway operation was inaugurated on 27 May 1979. Therefore, the route provides a second connection for the freight trains that can reach the yard of Milan, Cremona and Treviglio.
