The Creuse is a river in France. It rises in the Massif Central, the Plateau de Millevaches. Your source is located in the municipality of Le Mas- d'Artige, in about 810 meters. The Creuse drained first north, then turns northwest and flows 264 kilometers according to the place Bec -des- Deux -Eaux, west of Port-de -Piles, as a right tributary of the Vienne.
The headwaters of the river passes through the Regional Natural Park Millevaches en Limousin, later it passes through the Regional Natural Park of Brenne.
The Creuse was already known in antiquity under the name Crosa.
