Crile is a very small, cup-shaped crater in the Palus Somni, between the Mare Crisium to the east and the Sea of ​​Tranquility in the West.

Before being renamed by the International Astronomical Union ( IAU) in 1976 Crile was called Proclus F. The eponymous crater Proclus is situated north -northeast.
