Cristian Lucian Munteanu

Cristian Lucian Munteanu ( born October 17, 1980 in Arad ) is a Romanian football player. The center-back is since the summer of 2013 in AFC SAGEATA Năvodari in Liga 1 under contract.

Career

The career of Munteanu started in 2000 at West Petrom Arad in the third Romanian League, the Divizia C. In 2001, he moved to second division side FC Bihor Oradea. There he came only irregularly in the 2001/ 02 season to use and missed with his team in third place behind UTA Arad and FC Baia Mare the rise. A year later jumped out of second place and Munteanu - now a regular player - rose with his team through success in the relegation matches against Otelul Galati in the Divizia A on. There, however, the club rose by return again. In the season 2004/ 05 he missed the direct resurgence.

During the winter break 2005/ 06 Munteanu Bihor left and moved to FC Sopron in the Hungarian Nemzeti National Championship. With Sopron he finished the following two seasons in the midfield in the league. In the summer of 2007 he returned to Romania, where he Politehnica Iaşi joined. After the club had placed twice in the lower middle, he finished second in the 2009/10 season only the 16th place and were relegated to the Liga II. Munteanu left the club and moved to newly promoted FCM Târgu Mureş, with whom he finished the season 2010/11 in the secured midfield. In summer 2011, he signed on to league rival FC Braşov.
