Croatian Government

The Croatian Government ( officially: Republic of Croatia: Vlada Republike Hrvatske ), together with the president of the executive branch in Croatia. The government is headed by the President of the Government ( Predsjednik Vlade or in the case of a woman Predsjednica Vlade ), also known as Premier ( Premijer or in the case of a woman premijerka ). The Prime Minister is asked to form a government by the President of the Republic of Croatia.

The Government consists of the Prime Minister, his deputies and ministers. Since 23 December 2011, the tenth government is led by Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic in office.

The tasks of the government is defined in the Croatian Constitution. Croatia is a parliamentary democracy with far-reaching responsibilities and duties of the President of Croatia.

The Government has its seat ( German: Banal - yard ) in the Banski dvori on Trg sv. Marka ( St. Mark's Square and St Mark 's Square ) in Zagreb. The Croatian Parliament ( Sabor in Croatian ) is located at St. Mark's Square opposite the seat of government.
