Crölpa - Löbschütz was an independent municipality of the castle district in Saxony- Anhalt. Since 2010, the four districts Crölpa - Löbschütz, Freiroda, Holy Cross and Kreipitzsch form districts of Naumburg ( Saale).

Geography

The districts are located in the Saale -Unstrut Triasland, on a plateau east of the Saale. It is located about 8 km southwest of Naumburg and 3 km south of Bad Kösen at the beginning of überlössten the hills around Zeitz.

Administrative history

The villages are located within sight of the Rudelsburg and were over the centuries to this property. So had over the centuries the nobility Bünau of Osterhausen (1581-1671) and of Creutzen the villages.

The village belonged until 1948 to the Thuringian district Stadtroda, then briefly to the district of Jena. On July 25, 1952 Crölpa - Löbschütz part of the newly formed circle Naumburg ( County Hall ).

After re-establishment of Saxony-Anhalt, the community formed in 1994 from part of the first castle district, dividing them into this first of the joint management Bad Kosen, from 2008 the administrative community Wethautal (headquarters: Osterfeld ) belonged.

January 1, 2010 Crölpa - Löbschütz, Freiroda, Holy Cross and Kreipitzsch were incorporated as districts in the city of Naumburg on the Saale. The joint district administration is still in the district Freiroda.
