Cüneyt Tanman

Mehmet Cuneyt Tanman (born 16 January 1956 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player.

Career

Tanman played for the Turkish football club Galatasaray. For Galatasaray he graduated from in 1973/74 to 1990/ 91 401 top-flight appearances and was temporarily record player of the Turkish league. Cuneyt Tanman was 1985-1991 captain of Galatasaray. 1975/76 he was loaned to Giresunspor.

In the National Team defender played 17 A- internationals. 1991 ended Tanman his career with a farewell match.

After the active career, he spent some time in the management of Galatasaray. In 2004, he worked as a co- commentator for the Turkish pay-TV channels Lig TV. Since November 2010 he has been working in the scouting team of Galatasaray. Tanman until the end of season 2010/11, sports director of Galatasaray.
