Curtil-Vergy

Curtil -Vergy is a commune with 121 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) and an area of 2.7 km ² in the department of Côte- d'Or in the Burgundy region of France. It belongs to the wine region Haute Côte de Nuits and is located in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune, about eight miles from Nuits -Saint -Georges west of the RN 74 at an altitude 294-516 m above sea level.

History

In the 9th century under the management of Cluny Abbey Saint- Vivant was founded.

Attractions

In the small town of Curtil -Vergy a hotel (Le Manasses ) is linked to a small wine museum. The owner, Yves Chaley, performs every night around 18:00 clock a wine tasting at the museum through.
