CyberLink

CyberLink (Chinese讯 连 科技, Pinyin Xunlian Keji ) is a Taiwanese computer company headquartered in New Taipei City. The company was founded in 1996 by Jau Huang, a professor at National Taiwan University. CyberLink's product portfolio includes playback software for digital media (Blu -ray Disc, high-definition videos in various formats, DVDs, VCDs) with the flagship PowerDVD editing software for videos and slideshows, PowerDirector and MediaShow products for the " digital home "like PowerCinema, and Mobile TV Solutions for all mobile TV standards in Europe, Asia and the USA.

CyberLink software is preinstalled by its abundance of OEM partners on many PCs and laptops, but often under different names. Among other things, bundling companies such as Acer, Asus, Dell, Fujitsu, Fujitsu Siemens, Gateway, HP, LG, Lenovo, Medion, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba their hardware with Cyberlink software.

Management

The current chairman Jau Huang founded in 1996 CyberLink Corp.. with a focus on the development of digital video and Internet technologies. He personally directs the product development team, consisting of product managers, software developers and test engineers.

Alice H. Chang since 1997 CEO of CyberLink. She was former Vice President of Trend Micro and Investment Consul Tantin at Citigroup and brought CyberLink in 2004 to the Taiwanese stock market.
