Cyryl Klimowicz

Cyryl Klimowicz ( born November 5, 1952 in Amangeldi ) is a Polish priest, Bishop of St. Joseph of Irkutsk and Apostolic Administrator of Yuzhno -Sakhalinsk.

Life

The Bishop of Warmia, Józef Glemp, ordained him a priest on June 8, 1980. Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 13 October 1999 in Minsk - Mogilev and Titular Bishop of Arba.

The Archbishop of Minsk - Mogilev, Kazimierz Cardinal Świątek, donated on 4 December of the same year the episcopal ordination; Were co-consecrators Dominik Hrušovský, Apostolic Nuncio in Belarus, and Aleksander Kaszkiewicz, Bishop of Grodno.

On 17 April 2003, he was appointed Bishop of St. Joseph of Irkutsk and diocesan administrator of Yuzhno -Sakhalinsk.
