D'or Fischer

D'or Fischer ( born October 12, 1981 in Philadelphia ) is an American professional basketball player. His preferred position is that of the center.

Career

D'or Fischer played the 2001/2002 season for the Northwestern State Demons in the Southland Conference of the NCAA. After a college exchange he played from 2003 to 2005 at the West Virginia Mountaineers in the Big East Conference.

In November 2005, he joined the Polish club Anwil Wloclawek, but still went back during the season to his home, to the D -League team Roanoke Dazzle. The 2006/07 season he played in the German Basketball Bundesliga for the EWE Baskets Oldenburg and ended the year as the best shot blocker in the league, with an average of 2.6 blocks per game. After a year in Belgium, at Euphony Bree, Fischer moved to the top Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he won both the Ligat ha Al in the 2008 /09 season and the 2010 Cup. In the summer of 2010 he went to Spanish giants Real Madrid. After a season in the Spanish capital D'or Fischer moved to Bizkaia Bilbao. Since the 2013/2014 season, he plays for German champions Brose Baskets Bamberg.
