Dabrun is a district of the city Kemberg in Wittenberg district in Saxony- Anhalt.

Geography

Dabrun is located about 8 km southeast of Wittenberg on the Elbe. As districts of the municipality Melzwig, Boos, Rötzsch and the residential area Dabruner vineyard are reported.

History

Dabrun was first mentioned in 1353 as Dobrunn.

On 1 January 2010, until then independent municipality Dabrun was incorporated together with the communities Eutzsch, Rackith, Radis, Rotta, Schleesen, Selbitz, Uthausen and wait castle in the city Kemberg. At the same time the management of Community Kemberg, belonged to the Dabrun was dissolved.

Structures

The manor Dabrun was first mentioned at the beginning of the 16th century, when modern mansion has been preserved in a reduced form in the possession of the monastery of the Augustinian Hermits Wittenberg kam.Das and dates back to the Renaissance.

The brick church was built in 1897. Worth mentioning are the Renaissance grave times of various landowners.
