Dagbani is the language of the Dagomba in Ghana, which is spoken by about 800,000 (2004 SIL) residents.

They live mainly northeast to Tamale to the area of ​​distribution of Yendi. Dagbani is also a trade language.

Alternative names are Dagbane, Dagomba and Dagbamba. A dialect of Dagbani is Nanuni ( Nanumba ). It consists of 95 % compliance with Mampruli to 90 % with Talni and to 89% with Kusaal.
