Dala-Demokraten

The Dala- Democrats is a Swedish social democratic newspaper with a circulation of 14,800 copies ( 2012).

The editorial office is located in Falun with local offices throughout Dalarna: Borlänge, Avesta, Hedemora, Sater, Ludvika, Smedjebacken, Vansbrosimningen, Gagnef, Leksand, Mora and Rättvik. The newspaper has approximately 100 employees.

Publisher is Lennart Håkansson and chief editor Göran Greider. Greider is known in Sweden as a writer and poet - he took over in 1999 the editor. Editorial there is a collaboration with the union Svenska Elektrikerförbundet.
