Daming County

District Daming (大名 县/大名 县) is a county of the prefecture-level city of Handan in the south of Hebei province. It has an area of 1,052 km ² and has about 740,000 inhabitants (2003 ).

The site of the ancient city Damingfu ( Daming Fu Gucheng大名府 故城) and the Wuliji panel ( Wuliji at五 礼记 碑) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006.
