Dance Academy
Dance Academy - Dance your dream! ( Original title: Dance Academy ) is an Australian youth television series, produced by Werner Film Productions in collaboration with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the ZDF since 2010. The series revolves around Tara Webster, a new student at the National Academy of Dance.

Action
Tara Webster has grown up on a farm in Australia. At 15, she is accepted to the prestigious National Academy of Dance and it changes their lives. She is learning with their classmates Katrina Karamakov, Ethan Karamakov, Samuel Lieberman, Abigail Armstrong and Christian Reed not only ballet but also hip-hop dance and modern dance. But the friends must also realize that life as a professional dancer is harder than I thought, as they always have to go approach with commitment, discipline and ambition to her dream.
In the relay Tara returns to her second year at the National Academy of Dance. Friends have all the hope in one of the most important international ballet competition, the Prix de Fonteyn participate. Later in the season they have to cope with the death of their friend Sammy, who was killed in a traffic accident.
Tara and her friends are in the third and last year at the Academy. They all deal with the question of how to proceed after training with them. For they all dream of a solid commitment to the National Ballet Company.
Production
The auditions started in the spring of 2009 in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. The filming the first season started on 13 July 2009 and lasted until mid-November.
The series was renewed for a second season. The production for the second season began on January 31 and lasted until August 4, 2011.
In August 2012, began in Sydney, the production of a third, full 13 episodes season whose Original Air Date was initially scheduled for autumn 2013. In fact, the broadcast in Australia began in July 2013.
