Daniel Bailey
Daniel Everton Bailey (born 9 September 1986) is a sprinter from Antigua and Barbuda who specializes in the 100 -meter run. He carried the flag of his country at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
Bailey represented Antigua and Barbuda at the 2004 Summer Olympics, the 2006 Commonwealth Games and the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. In Beijing, he reached the 100 - meter sprint to second place its forward travel, just four hundredths of a second behind Usain Bolt, s in a time of 10.24 in the next round, he came up with a time of 10.23 s, however, he qualified not because he was fourth behind Asafa Powell, Walter Dix and Derrick Atkins for the semifinals.

Bailey reached the finals at the World Championships and finished there in 9.93 s fourth place.
At the World Indoor Championships 2010 in Doha Bailey won in 6.57 s, the bronze medal in the 60 - meter dash.
On August 28 he reached at the World Athletics Championships in 2011 with 10.26 s fifth.
