Daniel Biasone

Daniel " Danny" Biasone ( born February 22, 1909 in Miglianico in Chieti, Italy; † 25 May 1992, Syracuse, New York) was an American entrepreneur and former owner of the Syracuse Nationals. Biasone had the Nationals until 1963 and then sold it to Irv Kosloff.

Biasone is considered the inventor of the shot clock, the introduction ushered in the era of the modern basketball. On 13 October 2000, he was posthumously called " promoters" (English: contributor ) was added to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
