Daniel Boulanger

Daniel Boulanger ( born January 24, 1922 in Compiègne ) is a French screenwriter, actor and writer. He was from 1983 to 2008 a member of the Académie Goncourt literary organization. His career in film began as a screenwriter in the 1960s and has been involved since more than 40 films. He was also seen in several films in smaller roles as an actor.

For the screenplay for the movie adventure in Rio Boulanger was nominated in 1965, together with Jean -Paul Rappeneau, Ariane Mnouchkine and Philippe de Broca in the category of Best Original Screenplay Oscar.
